Kathleen H. Miller (Hagerman) age 61 of Sharon passed away January 30th at her home in Sharon. Born in Tokyo Japan. Kathleen and her family moved throughout the United States, as her father was in the US Air Force. Kathleen graduated from San Jose State in 1975 with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. She worked as a nurse in California and in Boston. In 1980, she received her Masters degree in Nursing from Boston College, in 1989 she received an EED from Boston University, and in 2003 she received a Post Doctoral Fellowship, at Oregon University Nursing School. Professor Miller taught at Curry College, Simmons College, Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester where she was also an Associate Dean. Kathy also worked at Norcap in Foxboro helping people with drug related issues. She was made a fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2008, and was inducted into the American Academy of Nursing in the fall of 2012. Beloved wife of Geoffrey Miller of Sharon. Devoted mother of Christopher and Alexandra of Sharon. Loving sister of John Hagerman of CA. Aunt of Stephen, Pamela & Daniel Hagerman all of CA. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service at the Congregational Church 29 North Main St. Sharon, Thursday morning at 11:00.
