Goffstown– Irene R. Plante, 98, died February 1, 2015 at Bel Air Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on March 30, 1916 the daughter of Joseph and Georgianna (Chatel) Ouellette and had been a lifelong resident of this area.
Prior to her retirement she had been a presser for Dorsen-Fleisher Shoe Co.
She was a longtime parishioner of St. Edmond Church.
She leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Calling hour will be from 10 AM to 11 AM on Wednesday February 4, 2015 at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A prayer service will take place at 11 AM in the funeral home.
Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
