Juanita Sue (Barton) Smith, 78, of Anderson, IN died January 29, 2015 at Riverwalk Village after an extended illness.
She was born, June 22, 1936 in Wise, Virginia to Arthur and Ada (Engle) Barton.
She worked production at Delco Remy.
She attended Center Chapel Faith Fellowship in New Castle.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly; a member of Country Friends Home Extension Club and an avid cook. She spent many years traveling the U.S. in her RV and enjoyed many camping trips.
She is survived by her son, Daniel L. Smith of CA; sister, Frances Barton of Anderson; three grandchildren, Alisha Burns of Anderson, Joel (Brittany) Stubblefield of Noblesville and Ada Smith of Anderson; great granddaughter, Gracen Burns; two nieces, Michelle Hargis and Jerelene Beverly; nephew, James E. Moore of Wise, VA and several extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Randy E. Stubblefield; her sister, Garnett Shoop and her brother, Delbert "Leo" Barton.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Dennis Coppock officiating. Cremated remains will be buried in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 until the service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
