Linda J. (Purney) Sansoucy 65, of Bellingham passed away peacefully on January 23, 2015. She was the wife of Dennis Sansoucy for the past 40 years.
Born in Framingham on July 13, 1949, the daughter of the late Russell and Stella (Matheson) Purney, Mrs. Sansoucy was raised and lived in Medway for many years. She had been a resident of Bellingham for the past 38 years.
A 1967 graduate of Medway High School, Linda also graduated from Boston Trade School for Girls, where she studied to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Linda had worked as an LPN at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton for nearly 40 years.
Linda enjoyed camping with her family and volunteering at the Tuesday night meal program at the Medway Community Church.
She was an active member of the CUB organization. She loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Dennis, she is survived by her children, Michael Mayhew of Cape Cod, Heather Hayes of Franklin, and Amy Wenson of Millbury.
She is also survived by her sisters, Norma Myers of Blackstone, Suzin Osborne of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and Janet Purney–Balabanis of Grafton.
Linda is also survived by her 7 beloved grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2014 in the Medway Community Church at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Medway.
At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours.
