Anthony A. DiChiara, age 74, of Medford, passed away December 24th following a short illness. Born in Boston he was the beloved son of the late Antonette (Zizza) and Joseph DiChiara.
Anthony was a Medford resident for over fifty years and worked for many years as an accountant. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War and was an active Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, St. Francis Council 2962. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the MA State K of C Charitable Foundation, 470 Washington St., Norwood, MA 02062.
Anthony is survived by his sister, Camille Mozzetta of Chelmsford and his brother, Generoso “Jerry” DiChiara of Woburn. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Anthony is preceded in death by his brother Ralph DiChiara and sister, Mary DiChiara.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Wednesday, at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St. Malden at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
