Obituary

Robert C. Boedecker passed away Monday, January 19th at his home in Mystic. Born Oct 20th, 1924 in Milwaukee WI, he served in WWII with the 45th Division 120th combat engineers in Europe and received a Silver Star. He attended Penn State University and worked as an engineer in the industrial valve industry

He is survived by his twin brother, Ray of Poughkeepsie, NY, daughter Ruth Rott of Spenge, Germany, son Robert S. Boedecker of Waterbury Center, VT, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife of 65 years,Harriet.

In his retirement years he worked at Holdridge Farm Nursery and traveled the world.

Funeral services will be private for the family.
The family asks that donations in his memory be made to the Ledyard Visiting Nurses Assoc. 741 Colonel Ledyard Highway, Ledyard CT 06339.
