Mr. Randall A. McCrillis, 78, of Amesbury, MA died January 16, 2015 at Holy Family at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill. Mr. McCrillis was born in West Newbury on May 16, 1936. He was the son of the late Charles and Alice (Ordway) McCrillis and had been an area resident all his life. He worked on the family farm as a young man, served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War as a heavy equipment operator, later became a truck driver for Cyr Oil Co., Haverhill Lawrence, Graf Brothers, and retired from Ogden Martin. He loved animals and spending time with his family.
Mr. McCrillis is survived by his loving wife Pamela (Seaman) McCrillis; a daughter Pamela Smith and her husband Joseph of Charlestown, NH; a son Randall McCrillis Jr. and his wife Lisa of Methuen, MA; five grandchildren: Deidre, Andrew, Jaclyn, Evan, and Ian; three great grandchildren: Kyla, Alexandra and Olivia; a sister Marilyn Davidson of Portsmouth, NH; a brother Douglas McCrillis of Rosemont, MN; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. McCrillis is predeceased by sisters Norma and Jane, brothers Carl and Harold, and a grandson Duncan.
