Obituary

Nathalie V. (Bean) Mruk of Coventry, 83, died peacefully at Riverview Health Center on Thursday, January 15, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Vivian (Barber) Romano.
A dedicated nurse, Nathalie earned a Bachelor of Nursing Degree from Rhode Island College and a Master of Arts Degree from Salve Regina University. During her many years of caring for others she worked at Kent, Fatima, and Saint Joseph hospitals, Sunnyview and Cra-Mar nursing homes, and Brown University Health Services, from where she retired. She was also the owner and operator of the former Lee's Beauty Shop in Coventry.
Nathalie was the mother of Andrea L. Penardo, Stanley J. Mruk Jr. both of Coventry, Karen A. Haxton of East Greenwich, and Diane E. Hunter of West Greenwich. She was the sister of Philip Bean and his wife, Catherine, and Leo Bean and his wife, Helen, all of West Warwick. Nathalie was the mother in law of Clark L. Hunter and the late Ronald E. Haxton, Domenic G. Penardo, and Sharon M. Mruk. She was the beloved grandmother of 12, and the great-grandmother of four. Nathalie was the former wife of the late Stanley J. Mruk, Sr. of Coventry.
At Nathalie's request, internment at Swan Point Cemetery will be private.
