Matthew A. Strazzulla, age 91 of Pepperell, formerly of Medford, passed away December 22nd following a short illness. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Carmela (DiMare) and Paolo Strazzulla.
Mr. Strazzulla was a retired firefighter. He worked for over thirty years at Ft. Devens. He was a member of Medford´s VFW Post 1012 and the American Legion Post 45. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
Mr Strazzulla is survived by his nieces Sandra Tammara of South Easton and Joyce Morrow of Pepperell. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Samuel P. Strazzulla and sisters, Anne M. Strazzulla and Josephine Seminara - Palumbo.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Monday at 9:30 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St. Medford, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
