Obituary

Wayne C. Brink, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved wife, family members, and friends on Friday, January 16, 2015 at home. He leaves his wife Shunfang "Frances" Lu and her two sons Gary and Chiyu Ren; a brother Keith Humphreys; a niece Susanne and 2 nephews; a grandniece and grandnephew, and several cousins. He was predeceased by a brother William Brink and a sister Janet Brink-Thomas.

Wayne was born in Millbury, son of the late William L. and Charlotte (Humphreys) Brink. He graduated from Burncoat Sr. High School, Quinsigamond Community College with an Associates Degree and earned both his Bachelors and Masters degree from Worcester State University. He proudly served his country in the US Army as a Staff Sergeant in the Green Berets in Vietnam. He also served as a Reservist at Ft. Devens. He worked as Director of Information Systems and taught photography at Quinsigamond Community College. He enjoyed his lifetime passions of photography, cooking, hiking, music, and international travel.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605.

Burial will be in Quabbin Park Cemetery, Rte. 9, Ware, MA 01082 on Monday, May 11, 11am.
