Pauline E. (Schmuck) Cochran, 91, passed away on January 13, 2015 at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield.
She was born in Anderson on February 4, 1923 to Martin and Elizabeth (Ashby) Schmuck. Pauline was one of five siblings.
She married Gordon W. Cochran in 1945 and later had one son, Larry.
Father, mother, husband, son and three siblings preceded her in death.
Pauline was employed early by various retail stores. Her longest term of employment was through General Motors working for both Guide Lamp and Delco Remy in Anderson. She was a member of Ivy Rebekah Lodge No 381 of the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows and she attended the First Baptist Church of Anderson.
Survivors include one brother, Francis (Phyllis) Schmuck, several nephews and nieces.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Miller's Merry Manor of Chesterfield and special friends, Beatrix Summers, Lee, Jill, Brandi and Megan Capehart for lending a hand with Pauline's care.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Interment will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the American Lung Association, the Madison County Humane Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
