Margaret M. "Peggy" Stack, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at her home in Charlestown. She was 65 years old.
Peggy was born in Boston on April 16, 1949, a daughter of the late James P. Stack and Rita G. (Dinn) Stack. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and received her Associates Degree from Bunker Hill Community College. Peggy worked as a secretary for many years for several non-profit organizations in the city. She enjoyed watching movies, walking and dancing, she was an avid reader and most of all she enjoyed helping people in need.
Peggy is the devoted mother of James P. Harris and his wife Linda, Nicole E. Williams and Jeffrey K. Bancroft and his wife Kellie. She is the loving grandmother to James P. Harris Jr., Jean M. Harris and Corey Bancroft. She is the dear Godmother to Michelle Davidchick. She is the former wife of the late Robert E. Harris Jr. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Peggy's visiting hours on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 4 to 7 P.M. with her Funeral Service at 6:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial is private.
