SHREWSBURY-Everette R. “Brownie” Brown, 82, of 397 Grafton Street, died Thursday, December 22nd in UMass Memorial Hospital, University Campus. His wife, Helen M. (Barnicle) Brown died in 2000. He leaves a son, David E. Brown of Gardner, a daughter Debra J. wife of Ronald Douglas, with who he lived, a brother, Ray Brown of Oxford, a sister, Ruth Linblad of Dennisport, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons.
He was born in Charlton the son of Edgar and Mariann Brown, and had been employed for 40 years at A. A. Brunell Electroplating Corporation as an electrical engineer and plater, retiring in 1996. Mr. Brown enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod, and most of all, time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandsons.
The funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
