LOWELL - John F. Bomil, age 40, a lifelong Lowell resident, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 22, at his Lowell home from an
apparent heart attack.
He was born in Lowell, July 11, 1964, a son of the late Victor J. and Dorothy (Dickey) Bomil,
and was a lifelong Lowell resident. He graduated from the Greater Lowell Vocational Technical
High School.
Mr. Bomil was known for his willingness to help anyone in need, and especially enjoyed the
company of his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by his son, John P. Bomil of Dracut; three brothers, Victor J. Bomil Jr.
of Lowell, Peter A. Bomil of Hudson, NH, Stephen M. Bomil of Laconia, NH; two sisters and a
brother-in-law, Brenda A. Dukeshire of Lowell, and Margaret J. and her husband Thomas Dumais
of Lowell; four nephews, Stephen, Sean, Christopher and Nickolas Bomil; six nieces, Jennifer
Dukeshire, Lisa, Kristen, and Megan Bomil, Jillian Dumas and Michelle Richard; several grand
nieces and grand nephews; and many cousins.
He was also brother of the late Patricia (Bomil) Richard, and the former husband of Diane (Demers) Bomil of Dracut.
His Funeral
Service was held Sunday evening, Dec. 26, in the funeral home. Following cremation, interment will be
in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lowell.
