Betty J. (Craig) Shipley, 75, of Anderson, died January 11, 2015 at Rawlins House in Pendleton after an extended illness.
She was born, December 4, 1939 in Dearborn, MI to Carl F. and Mabel (Gilligan) Craig.
She was a homemaker and a member of Eastside House of Prayer.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Shipley whom she married July20, 1957; her children, David Shipley of Anderson; Gail (Dwight Simmons) Alfrey of Anderson; Kenny (Shirley) Shipley of Chesterfield; Angela (Chuck) Butts; grandchildren, Jennifer (Derek) McHatten of Anderson; Greg (Jill Butcher) Alfrey of Ingalls; Brian (Dale Lowe) Shipley of New Castle; Suzanne (Aaron) Jarvis of Anderson; Nathan Bitts of Anderson; Kyla (Shane Briggs) Butts of Edgewood; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be 12 noon on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Jimmy Boicourt of Eastside House of Prayer with burial at East Maplewood Cemetery
Visitation will be from 10 am until the service at noon.
