George C. Mock, of Plymouth, died January 11th at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton at the age of 88. Husband of the late Joyce (Hardiman), he is survived by his daughters Marlene Duffy of Marshfield and Dotty Martin of Hanover. He also leaves his brother Charles Mock of Ocala, FL; 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Audrey Mock and his sister Louise Oliver.
George was born in Boston, son of the late Ralph and Mildred (Cartile) Mock. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and had worked as a glazier for Shaw Glass. He enjoyed the drum and bugle corp and was a fan of the Boston Crusaders.
A private service and burial for immediate family only will be held.
