David A. Philbrick Sr., 62 of Derry, NH died December 19, 2004 at his home. Mr. Philbrick was born in Lawrence, MA on September 8, 1942 a son of the late Raymond A. and Josephine (White) Philbrick, Jr. He had resided in Derry for the past six months, formerly living many years in Manchester. Mr. Philbrick served in the US Army from 1961-1964. He retired in 2003 from the State of New Hampshire Department of Transportation. He was a proud lifetime member of the NRA and a member of the Canadian Club of Manchester. He was a former member of the United Methodist Church of Lawrence.
He is survived by three sons, David A. Philbrick, Jr. of Lawrence, Patrick J. Philbrick of Salem, NH, Quentin T. Philbrick of Maine, three daughters, Karen J. Guptill of Derry, Heather D. Chase of New Boston, NH, Carrie E. Matthews of Laconia, NH, 10 grandchildren, two brothers, Robert F. Philbrick of Rochester, NH, Raymond A. Philbrick, also several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Monday December 27th at 5:30pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 9 Cedarwood Dr., Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110.
