
Worcester – Donald W. Miller, 79, of Worcester, died on Tuesday, January 6th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after an illness.
Mr. Miller was married to the late Beverly (Allard) Miller fro 51 years who died in 2006. He is survived by his three daughters, Deborah Lewis of Connecticut, Sharon Daigle of Spencer and Darlene Dombroski of Worcester; a brother, Stephen Miller of Worcester; a sister, Penny Miller of Oxford; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Donald was born in Worcester, son of the late Henry and Grace (Foley) Miller. He is also predeceased by three brothers, Roland, Robert and Junior Miller. Mr. Miller is a graduate of the former Commerce High School and served in the Army National Guard.
He worked as a machinist for over 30 years at the Valkyrie Manufacturing Company in Worcester. Don enjoyed many things throughout his lifetime, however, one of his most enjoyable things to do, was taking day trips to Twin Rivers Casino in Rhode Island.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 16th at 10:30 in the Saint Francis Home Chapel, 101 Plantation Street. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
