Wanda Walters Baldwin, 57, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, January 8, 2015, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, January 12, 2015, at the Fitzgerald Church of God in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dewain Joiner officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwin County. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, from 4 to 6, at the Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Baldwin was born July 4, 1957 in Douglas, Georgia, to Brad and Shirley Chaney Walters of Hazlehurst. She had lived in the community since 1975 and worked with Wal-Mart as a claims supervisor. Mrs. Baldwin was an avid reader and a member of the Fitzgerald Church of God.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years: Mike Baldwin of Fitzgerald; children: Shad & Loretta Chambers of Fitzgerald, Michael Baldwin, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Brittany Baldwin of Atlanta and Jason & Linda Willis of Brunswick; brothers: Carl & Ann Walters and Wade & Christy Walters, all of Hazlehurst; sisters: Karen & Ricky Cravey, Lera W. & Wayne Smith, Jackie W. & Glynn Rentz, all of Hazlehurst, Gloria W. & Jack Galich of Richmond Hill and Vicki W. & Tangent Jones of Albany, New York; grandchildren: Kevin Roscoe, Tony Roscoe, Shadoe Chambers, Hunter Chambers, Kasie Chambers, Scarlett Willis and Bruce Baldwin and three great-grandchildren.
