Corinne E. (Duffy) Borgatti age 89 of Brockton died Wednesday January 7, 2015 after a period of failing health. She was the loving wife of the late Raoul F. Borgatti. Corinne was born in Providence, Rhode Island a daughter of the late Arthur and Florence (Audette) Duffy and had lived in Brockton for the past 80 years.
Following her graduation from Brockton High School in 1943, Corinne was a dental hygienist for Dr. Collins, DDS in Brockton for several years before her marriage. She then became a stay at home mother who was devoted to raising her family. Corinne will be remembered as a loving and caring woman who always gave of herself. Her true joy in life was spending time with her family and celebrating their accomplishments.
In her free time Corinne enjoyed knitting, reading, puzzles and word searches. She was also an active bird watcher and cat lover.
Corinne is survived by her two children Ray Borgatti and his wife Deborah of Easton and Lisa Borgatti of Brockton and two grandchildren Kristen and Stephen Borgatti. She was the sister of the late Yvonne Kelleher.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte. 123) Brockton on Saturday 9-10:30 am followed by a graveside service in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
