Obituary

Joseph G.Bourget 86, of 38 Fox Run Rd., formerly of Fox Brook Manor died Monday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Bernice (Desjarlais) Bourget and the late Mary (Samford) Bourget. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Joseph and Aldea (Aubin) Bourget. Joe was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a heavy construction operator for the Gilbane Co. for many years retiring in 1995. He then worked part time for the Town of Blackstone as a van driver. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 85. Joe enjoyed flying radio control airplanes, and fishing. He was the bingo caller at the Blackstone Sr. Center and Fox Brook Manor.

Besides his wife he leaves three sons Normand J. Bourget of Woonsocket, John A. Bourget of Grafton, MA and Michael G. Bourget of Pascoag, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

His funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Burrillville.
