SALEM- Julia M. Gerrish, 81, of Salem, died Thursday, December 16, 2004 in the Salem Hospital following a short illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Alexina “Lena” (Dionne) Gerrish and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a cook in the restaurant business for many years.
Miss Gerrish is survived by four sisters, Mary and her husband Julius Abcunas, Janet Terrell and Rita Gerrish, all of Salem, Shirley and her husband Alfred Gill of Peabody and several nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Gerrish and Augustine Gerrish.
