Worcester – Marie A. (Talbot) Shenette, 54, of Worcester, died on Friday, January 2nd in the Rose Monahan Hospice House with her family by her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Marie leaves behind her husband, David F. Shenette Sr. of Worcester; her mother, Virginia B. (Brownson) Talbot of Worcester; a daughter, Melissa Langevin and her husband Neil of Millbury; 3 sisters, Tammy Talbot of Worcester, Toni Sullivan of Florida and Sue Joanis of Worcester; many grandchildren, including Cole Langevin; her nieces and nephews, Amy Decelles, Nicole Sullivan, Jessica Tetreault, Matthew Sullivan and Jeremy Lawrence as well as several step sons.
Mrs. Shenette was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her father, Russell J. Talbot and a sister, Tina Tetreault. She attended South High School and graduated from the Salter Secretarial School.
Marie worked for the Fallon Clinic for many years and was working as a referral analyst when stopped working in 2010 due to illness. She was a family oriented person that enjoyed quilting but was most happy when she was with her grandson.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 8th at 10AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street. Burial will follow in North Cemetery, Oxford.
