Kathleen M. MacDonald, 68, of Candia, NH, died Sunday, January 4, 2015 in her home. She was born in Massachusetts on February 18, 1946, a daughter of the late John DePalmenary and Beverly Smith. She had been a resident of Candia since 1996, formerly living in Londonderry, NH. Kathy had been employed for many years as a florist at Shaw’s Supermarkets. More recently, she adored taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends. She was full of life and enjoyed every day.
She is survived by her husband Stephen of Candia; a daughter and son, Kathleen Kilroy of Londonderry, NH and Donald Sullivan of Portland, OR; three grandchildren Joseph, Lukas, and Morgan; two sisters, Sara Edwards of New Hampshire, Ann DePalmenary of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brother, John DePalmenary of New Hampshire.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 5-8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday at 12:00pm in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave, Derry NH. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Kathy’s name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
