MEREDITH – Doris M. Marcotte, 89, of 153 Parade Road, formerly a longtime resident of Laconia, died Friday, January 02, 2015 at Lakes Region General Hospital.
She was born on August 8, 1925 in Northfield, Vermont, the daughter of the late Armand and Antoinette (Roux) Hebert. Doris was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Laconia for almost 60 years. She always held a deep love for Vermont and cherished spending time with her family. Doris enjoyed country and western music, especially Willie Nelson.
She is survived by her three sons; Lawrence Marcotte and his wife Elizabeth of Rollinsford, Robert Marcotte and his wife Cindy of Laconia and Raymond Marcotte and his wife Ellen of Portland, Maine, four daughters; Diane Jones and her husband Pete of Concord, Jacqueline Papathakis and her husband Michael of Roseville, CA, Suzanne Mclean and her husband Ryan of Meredith and Theresa Estes and her husband Scott of Belmont, one brother, David Hebert of Alton and Florida, twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Marcotte in 2000, one daughter, Rachel Marcotte, three brothers; Leon Hebert, Paul Hebert and Charles Hebert and three sisters; Ida Vielleux, Claire Jarvis and Marjorie Therien.
Calling hours will be held from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Monday, January 5, 2015 at St. Andre Bessette Parish - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue
Laconia.
Burial will be held in the spring in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.
