Cazeault, Jon T. Sr. 80, of Plymouth formerly of Weymouth peacefully passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth on December 31. Beloved husband of 58 years to Roberta M. (Spain) Cazeault of Plymouth. Father of Jon T. Jr. and his fiancé Robin Darsch of Kingston, David and his wife Donna of Duxbury, and Peter and his wife Hanna of Plymouth. Loving grandfather to Sarah, Emma, Liz, Jared, Marie, Kelly, and Shawn. Brother of Joseph of Edgartown, Paul of Osterville, Richard of Centerville, Jean Skinner of Florida, Patty Cross of Hingham, Gail Robertson of Abington, Sally Benson of Maine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearson F. and Marion E. (Tracy) Cazeault and his brothers Donald and James Cazeault. Father in law of the late Paula Cazeault
Jon was born in Quincy and grew up in Weymouth. He graduated from Weymouth High School in 1953. Jon was the Past President of J T Cazeault and Sons Roofing Company. He was a member of and Past President of the Weymouth Rotary Club and 2 time Paul Harris Fellow, Past President of NERCA and was a Clarence Carr Award winner, he was on the Board of Directors of the National Roofing Contractors Association, and a proud member of the Oysterville Yacht Club. Jon enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family every summer at his pool. Jon and his wife Roberta spent many wonderful vacations at Mary’s Boon in St Maarten with beloved friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary’s Parish on Monday January 5, at 10:00 AM leaving from the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St (Rte 3A) N. Plymouth at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday January 4, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Jon’s memory may be made to the Weymouth Rotary Club, P.O. Box 52, South Weymouth, MA 02190. Burial will be in Vine Hills Cemetery Plymouth, MA
