GLOUCESTER: Judith F. (Wilber) MacRae, 69, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Robert D. MacRae who died in 1997.
Born in Gloucester on June 6, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Roy F. and Ruth C. (Hendrickson) Wilber. A lifelong resident of Gloucester, she was a graduate of Gloucester High School class of 1963. Judith was a self-employed engraver for several companies including Gloucester Engineering for many years.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristin A. and Adam B. Catto; three adored grandchildren, Meghan, Michael and Eric Catto and cherished great-granddaughter, Sabrina Braga all of Gloucester; two sisters, Cynthia Caissie and Christine Demetri and her husband, Stephen; a sister-in-law, Sandra Nadeau and her husband, Joseph; a brother-in-law, Ronald Newman and his wife, Charlene; her beloved dog, “Bella” and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son, Scott A. MacRae.
Her funeral service will be privately held in Seaside Cemetery, Lanesville at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours.
