Mironda Garnett (Watkins) McCorkle, 84, died December 30, 2014 of cancer at Summit Convalescent Center in Summitville.
She was born February 9, 1930 in Hearst, Kentucky to DeCorsie and Florence (Brewer) Watkins.
She worked production at Jenn Air 10 years and was a member of Elm Grove Christian Church in Anderson, IN.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Massey of Alexandria and her son, David (Rhonda) McCorkle of Anniston, AL; two siblings; eleven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chester "Chet" McCorkle whom she married March 3, 1946 in Greenfield, IN and her son, Robert McCorkle.
Graveside services will be 11 am on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Mike Whiteman of Elm Grove Christian Church officiating.
