Mary E. Casey, 74 of Somerville, died Saturday after a brief illness in the Watertown Health Center, Watertown.
Born in Boston, she lived in Somerville for the past 45 years and formerly of South Boston. She was the daughter of the late Ruth (McLaughlin) and Herbert. Mary was a Document Manager, for several insurance companies in the Boston area for 40 years and retired in 2005.
Beloved wife of the late Chester L. Casey. Devoted mother of William Dresser and Robin Velazquez both of Somerville.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Benedict Church, 21 Hathorn St., Somerville, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Wednesday 9--10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
