Obituary

Charles O. Caron 93, formerly of Willow St., died December 17, 2014 at the Friendly Home. He was the husband of Florence (Belhumeur) Caron. Born in Canada, he was a son of the late Zephirin and Anna (Fredette) Caron. Mr. Caron was a WWII Army veteran. He was an LPN and worked at Foxboro Mental Hospital for many years retiring in 1986. He also worked part-time at the Embassy Club for many years. Mr. Caron was an avid gardener, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Besides his wife he leaves a son, Raymond Caron and his wife Jeanne of Woonsocket, a daughter Cecile Charlebois and her husband Tom of N. Attleboro, three grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Leo, Armand, and John Caron , Bertha Beaucage, Gertrude Segalla, Viola Dussault, and Georgette Bodnar.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 29th at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. The family will begin receiving guests at 10:00 AM in the church. Burial with Military Honors will be held in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the Friendly Home, Activities Fund, 303 Rhodes Ave. Woonsocket, RI 02895.
