Edna Frances (Montgomery) Burgin, 72, went home to her Lord, Monday December 22, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Louisville, KY. To Marvin C. Montgomery and Lillie (Taylor) Bradford.
Edna was a retired Packer for Casa de Oro and was a member of St. Paul’s at Shively Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and her loving Husband of 45 years, Robert Burgin Jr.; and a Daughter-In-Law: Wanda G. Burgin.
Survivors include her Son: Robert D. Burgin Sr. (Lee); 3 Grandchildren: Angela Lindsey (Steven), Robert D. Burgin Jr. (Beverly) and Nicole Carver;
3 Great Grandchildren: Ethan, Trace and Hayden; 2 Sisters: Goldie Kustes (Freddie) and Judith Cecil (Larry); Step-Sister: Diane Lovo (Joe);
2 Step-Brothers: William Alan Montgomery and Michael Montgomery and several nieces & nephews. Also surviving is her Companion: Roscoe Jump and her 2 babies: Chopper & Loki.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Valley Cemetery, Taylorsville, KY.
Visitation will be Friday 2:00 – 8:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
