Obituary

Norman L. Plourde 59, of Beverly, passed away Sunday evening, December 21, 2014 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House following a long battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Adrian and Bertha M. (Gaudreault) Plourde.

Born in Saugus and raised in Salem, he attended Salem State College and North Shore Community College majoring in Business Administration. He worked as an electronic technician for Compu-Graphic of Wilmington and more recently for Trans World System Collection Agency of Andover.

Norman’s passion was for photography. He worked in the camera department for Ann & Hope and also photographed for several of the area schools. He enjoyed camping, music and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his adopted daughter, Jenelle Plourde of Huston, TX, his brother, Roger G. Plourde and his wife Joanne R. of Middleton, two nephews, Joseph and Michael Plourde also of Middleton, and his cousin Dr. Norman Gaudreault and his wife Evelyn of Topsfield.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visiting hours on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, with his funeral service to begin at 11:00 A.M. in the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem. Burial will be private.
