Obituary

Albert Lee, 83, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, December 17, 2004, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday, December 20, 2004 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles White, Dr. Lloyd Stembridge and Rev. Greg Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ben Hill County, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 P.M. Sunday.

Mr. Lee was born September 5, 1921, in Dawson, Georgia, to the late Will Lee and Lorena Baker Lee. He retired in 1982 after 30 years of service from Lockheed Georgia Company as an Electrical Inspector. Mr. Lee was a 52-year member of the International Machinist and Aerospace Workers #709. A member of Arbor Baptist Church in Fitzgerald and the Baraca Sunday School Class, he was a former member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Fitzgerald and First Baptist Church of Kennesaw, Georgia, where he was ordained a Deacon in 1955. Mr. Lee served in the United States Navy during World War II.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife: Holly C. Lee, Fitzgerald; 2 daughters: Ann Roach, Acworth, GA and Mopsy White, Savannah, GA; 4 grandchildren: Steve Roach, Jr., Kelly Burkes, Howard White and Bryan White; 5 great grandchildren: Andy Burkes, Brandon Burkes, Brittany Burkes, Christa Roach and Kendra Roach; brother: Lewis Lee, Tucker, GA; 3 sisters: Cora Bell Twiggs, Cartersville, GA; Alice Ash, Fitzgerald; Marjorie Carroll, Fitzgerald. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
