Mildred F. “Millie” (Mannix) Brophy, age 71 of West Bridgewater, died at her home on Sunday December 14, 2014. She was the wife of Kevin F. Brophy. Millie was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late William and Mary (Frazier) Mannix. She lived most of her life in the city and had lived in West Bridgewater for the past 15 years.
A graduate of Brockton High School, Millie was an administrative assistant in several local businesses including Franklin Sports, Roman Art, Abel Products in Stoughton and Staples in Canton. Millie enjoyed collecting and displaying Snow Babies in her curio cabinet, walking, trips to the Plymouth waterfront and eating out at the Olive Garden with her family. She also had a passion for the Red Sox and Patriots.
Millie especially enjoyed baking, cooking and spending the holidays with her family.
In addition to her husband, Millie is survived by her three children Pamela Kotowski and her husband Stephen of Plymouth, Debbie Stone of Buzzards Bay and Donnie Stone and his wife Allison of Pembroke. She leaves three grandchildren Brittany, Lauren and Christian Stone. She was the sister of Kathryn Wilbur of Brockton, Betty Francey of Texas and Shirley Reid of Brockton.
