Jean R. Marion, 77, of Little Compton died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Richard J. Gomez.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late Joseph Marion, Sr. and the late Helen Flores. Mrs. Marion was a Communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton. She had previously worked for McLaughlin Research in Middletown, RI as a computer librarian at the Newport Naval Base and also as a Researcher for American Express in Providence, RI.
Including her husband, survivors include 2 daughters: Deborah A. Stanton of Richfield, CT and Patricia J. Gomez of Stratton, VT; a brother: Joseph Marion, Jr. and his wife Edith of Little Compton; a granddaughter: Kaitlin Stanton; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, December 19, 2014 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. prior to the Mass at the Potter Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Little Compton.
