TEWKSBURY: Ryan M. Burke, age 31, a former longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away unexpectedly, at the Lowell General Hospital-Saints Campus on Saturday, December 13, 2014.
Born in Melrose on October 31, 1983, he was the beloved son of Robert S. Burke and Teresa E. (Robinson) Burke, who survive him, of Seabrook, NH, formerly of Tewksbury.
Ryan was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 2002.
Following high school, he attended Middlesex Community College.
Ryan was employed as a Corrections Officer at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Facility in Shirley for the past 10 years.
He enjoyed playing a round of golf with his friends and was a passionate sports enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, Ryan is survived by his twin sister, Rachel B. Crouse and her husband Robert of Worcester; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 19, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 20, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury.
