Gilbert "Keith" Maupin, 78 of Anderson died December 16, 2014 at his home in Anderson following a brief illness.
He was born January 15, 1936 in Anderson, the son of Kenneth and Margaret (Passwater) Maupin.
He worked for John Mansville and Emgee Corp. He was a lifelong member of Pendleton AMVETS Post 26; Chesterfield American Legion and Veteran of Indiana Army National Guard.
He is survived by his 6 children: Pam (Lee) Burns of North Carolina, Clifford (Susie) Yates of Florida, Ronny Yates of Anderson, Kenneth (Tonya) Maupin of Anderson, Kim (Ron) Ackles of Anderson and Kevin (Kaeann) Maupin of FL; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Diane Scales and Janet Lane.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn A. (Riggins) Maupin on August 2, 2013, 3 brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 11 am on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Steve Gettinger officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 P.M. Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Saunders Cemetery in Daleville
