Arthur Medeiros, Jr., 59 of Westport passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Fall River, he was son of Arthur Medeiros, Sr. and Herminia (Cruz) Medeiros of Westport. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country in the United States Army as a paratroop rigger in the 509th Airborne Unit. He spent the majority of his post army days as a truck driver for Swansea Concrete Corporation.
A beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, survivors include his parents, sister: Donna M. Houk and her husband Wayne, Sr. of New Bedford; and nieces and nephew: Karen Scott, Larissa Lisk and her husband Matthew and Wayne Houk, Jr.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport at 11:00 A.M.
