Obituary

DANVILLE, NH: Robert G. “Red” Connor, Sr., 84, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in the Exeter Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in South Boston on May 7, 1930, he was the son of the late Richard and Lena (Dellafarno) Connor. He had resided in Cambridge and Sandown, NH for many years before moving to Danville several years ago. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.
Robert owned and operated the Redmar Kennels in Sandown and is still known for its Redmar bloodline. He had also operated an automotive repair shop in Derry for several years. While living in Cambridge, he was the proprietor of Red’s Taxi.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Connor; two sons, Robert Connor and his wife, Susan of Chester, NH and Steve Connor of Sandown, NH; his daughter, Sheree Levy of Nottingham; two grandsons, Michael and Ryan Levy both of Nottingham; two granddaughters, Alexis and Shannon Connor both of Chester and a nephew, Danny Brown of Bradenton, FL.
His funeral service will by held on Monday in St. James Cemetery, Primrose St., Haverhill at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 40 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA. 02472.
