William "Bill" Pass, 82, returned to his heavenly Father December 11, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
He was an active member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church. He retired from Henry Vogt Machine Co. He graduated from Manual High School, attended Morris Harvey College, WV and signed to play professional baseball with Chicago White Sox Organization.
Bill was a baseball coach, avid camper, West Virginia fan and a friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gardner and Gladys Pass.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marianne Karcher Pass; children, Mike (Chris), Tommy (Erin), Jim "Coots" (Sharon), Sharon (Daryl), Joni (Laura), Kim, and Mary Ann (Scott); twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; many loving friends and neighbors.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 am Tuesday at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop. Visitation 1-8 pm Monday at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
