Augusta, GA – Ms. Khadeeja Sterling, 18, entered into rest on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Chaplain Pauline Hughes officiating. Interment to follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Khadeeja loved music, socks, paper, the rain, and riding in the van. She also won many Special Olympics awards. Khadeeja is a full time student at Lakeside High School. She participated in the Buddy Club and Pep rallies.
Khadeeja is survived by her parents, Valerie and Michael Branch; her brothers, Chaka, Thomas, Michael Jr., Malachi, and Terry Jr.; her sisters, Jazmine, and Qadira; and by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Nick Heyward, Pete Keselicka, Chaka Hardwick, Terry Smith, Sr., Terry Smith, Jr., and Jay Smith.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, December 12, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
