Kathryn (Hosier) Stottlemyer, 92, of Anderson, died at her residence on December 5, 2014.
She was born on February 18, 1922 in Hamilton County, Indiana, the daughter of George and Sarah Gertrude (Perry) Hosier. On November 18, 1940 she married Roscoe H. Stottlemyer, who preceded her in death in 1985. Kathryn was employed in production at General Motors, and was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church. She was an avid Pacer fan, loved to garden, enjoyed flowers, birds, fishing, camping and traveling.
Family surviving her includes her two children, Ruth (husband David) Dyehouse and Roscoe M. (wife Carmen) Stottlemyer: grandchildren Melissa (husband Asher) Dyehouse-Lucas and Rachel (husband Matt) Brunsman: Great grandchild Elizabeth Brunsman and another on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents who raised her, Commodore and Nancy Alice Perry, her husband, and four brothers, Nile, Herman, Dale and Floyd.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Mark Helm officiating. Burial will follow at the K. of P. IOOF Cemetery in Frankton. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 1-3 PM prior to the funeral service.
