José J. Ferreira, age 86, of Somerset, passed away December 4, 2014. Born in São Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Antonio Jacinto Ferreira and Isabel Lima Cabral, and husband of the late Leduina (Camara) Ferreira. He was a cabinet maker for William Blum & Son of East Providence, and a parishioner of St. John of God Church.
He is survived by his brother Antonio M., and several nieces & nephews. He was also the brother of the late Maria Isabel Cabral Ferreira.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on WEDNESDAY here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. John of God Church at 10:00 A.M. Entombment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
