SPENCER: Stephen J. Seymour 61, of Lake Ave., died Saturday, Dec. 6 at his home.
He leaves his wife of 35 years, Robbin L. (Doane) Seymour, two sons Benedict G. Seymour and his wife Christina of So. Yarmouth, and Nicholas K. Seymour of Worcester, a daughter Stepheni R. Roche and her husband Joseph of Paxton, two brothers Peter Seymour and his wife Joanne of Spencer and Gary Seymour of Worcester, a sister AnnMarie Morgan and her husband John of Gales Ferry, Ct., two grandchildren Bentley D. and Beckett S. Roche, his aunt Marjorie Bousquet of Worcester, several nieces and nephews.
Stephen was a project manager and estimator for more than 30 years, most recently with Iron Craft Fabrication of No.Grosvenordale, Ct., and previously with Berlin Steel in Oxford.
He was born in Worcester, the son of John and Norma (Foley) Seymour and later graduated from South High and Worcester Industrial Technical Institute both in Worcester. He was an avid golfer and played in the Monday Night League at Pine Ridge in Oxford and the Honey Farms League on Wednesdays at Kettlebrook Golf Club in Paxton. He enjoyed his vacations to Siesta Key, Fl., and Cape Cod with his family.
The family would like to thank the caring staff from St. Vincent’s Hospital and Overlook Hospice.
Stephen’s funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Greenville Baptist Cemetery, Rochdale. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 7p.m. in the funeral home.
