Cribben of Brockton December 14, 2004, Ruth T. (Salpi) Cribben, 74 years. Wife of Ralph M. Cribben.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church,Brockton at 9am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 11am Visiting hours Thursday 4-7pm.

Obituary

Mrs. Cribben died Tuesday at the Beverly Manor in Plymouth after a brief illness. She was born, raised and educated in Boston a daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine (Noris) Salpi. She had been a resident of Brockton since 1960.
Mrs. Cribben was an accomplished cake decorator, knitter and crocheter. She enjoyed making stained glass windows and had been a teacher in the Brockton community schools. She also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Foxwoods. When her sons were young she was involved with cub scouts and boy scouts.
Mrs. Cribben had been a longtime communicant of St. Edith Stein Church and regularly attended its bingo.
She is survived by her husband of fifty years Ralph M. Cribben, four sons, Kenneth of Brockton; Edward of Bridgewater; Kevin of Taunton and Daniel Cribben of Plymouth, two sisters, Barbara Armata of Arizona and Dorothy Mitton of Braintree, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
