Worcester- Eleanor G. (Pepin) Fafard, 82, of Worcester, died Sunday, Dec. 12, in Radius Health Care Center.
She leaves her husband of 58 years, Edmond E. Fafard, Sr.; a son, Edmond E. Fafard, Jr. of Santa Clara, CA; two daughters, Rosemary Rennicks of Worcester and Linda A. Dunn of Barre; two grandsons, Ziggy Fafard and Quinn Fafard, both of Santa Clara, CA; two granddaughters, Laurissa Dunn and Victoria Dunn, both of Barre; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Thomas J. and Albina R. (Chevalier) Pepin and lived here all her life. She graduated from Commerce High School and Becker Junior College.
Mrs. Fafard worked for the City of Worcester Police Department for many years, retiring as the Secretary to the Chief of Police in 1986.
She was a member of St. Stephen Parish.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be private. A calling hour will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, in the funeral home.
