Worcester—Victor A. Smith, 84, died Sunday, December 12, 2004, in UMass Memorial Medical Center—Memorial Campus. His wife, Olga B. (Zook) Smith, predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, son of Adam and Agnes (Kukis) Smith. He was a Corporal in the Army Air Corps, 14th Bombardment Wing (H), during WWII. He was a Sergeant in the traffic division on the City of Worcester Police Department for 31 years until his retirement. Mr. Smith is survived by two daughters—Janice B. Smith and Vicki E. Smith, both of Worcester.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 14, in Nordgren Memorial Chapel. Burial was in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bosler Humane Society, P.O. Box 12, Baldwinville, MA 01436.
