Beloved father of Derek Bryan of Pembroke Pines, FL, Kimberly Bryan-Dizon and her husband Ted, III of Chelsea and Carrie DiNapoli and her husband Michael, Jr. of Derry, NH. Brother of James Bryan of Randolph, Judith Bryan of NC and the late Patricia Bryan-Armstrong. Cherished grandfather of Aidan Dizon, Gillian Bryan, Michael DiNapoli, III, Bryan DiNapoli and Mason Dizon. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Thursday, December 4th at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., Chelsea at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. A lifelong Chelsea resident, Paul at 67 years of age passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a long illness. A member of a military family, Paul spent a good portion of his younger years living at bases in Germany and across the United States. After returning to Chelsea after his service to his country, he received a LPN degree in nursing from the Chelsea Soldiers Home and began working for various nursing care facilities until retiring 10 years ago from Mediplex in Lynn. Not one to let time be wasted, Paul also had a business degree from Bunker Hill Community College as well as a real estate license. In his spare time, he loved the guitar, palying it, writing songs and even singing. An participant at Woodstock, he also collected records and wrote poetry.
