Obituary

Manchester– Alfred A. “Fred” McKenna, 70, died November 29, 2014 at his home surrounded by family following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester on September 18, 1944 the son of Alfred H. and Emerencia (Dumont) McKenna and had been a lifelong resident of Manchester.
He served his country in the National Guard.
Prior to his retirement he was the owner and operator of Murroney’s Printing.
He was a member of Club Richelieu and a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church.
He enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing and snowmobiling.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Christine McKenna in 2006.
Family members include his wife of 20 years, Robin (Corris) McKenna of Manchester, 2 daughters, Dawn Mailloux and her husband, Jason of Hudson, Tammy Martin and her husband, Allen of Manchester, 8 grandchildren, Jennifer Rollins of Manchester, Shauna McKenna, Stevan Areias, Tyler Areias, all of New Ipswich, Rylee Mailloux, Carson Mailloux of Hudson, Joey Martin, Allen Martin of Manchester, 2 great grandchildren, Nicky Forys, Kaleb Forys, 1 sister, Dorothy McLaughlin and her husband, Rick of Florida, 3 sisters in law, Pat Garbati and her husband, Gary, Tracy Collin and her husband, Marc, all of Connecticut, Susan Lane and her husband, Steve of Virginia, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday at 10 AM in Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave.
Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
