Obituary

Edward G. Brown fondly known as Ted of Plympton, passed away surrounded by family on the evening of November 27th. He was 66 years old.
He was the beloved son of the late Edward A. and Elly L. Brown. Born in Schleswig Germany and raised in Highgate England. Ted moved his family to the United States in 1979 and became a US Citizen on May 22, 2008.
Beloved husband of Julie (Holmes) Brown for the past 14 years. Loving father to Scott E. Brown of Bethel, CT and Katie Gendrolius and her husband William of Attleboro, MA. Brother of Barbara Waller and husband Barry, Peter Brown and his wife Pamela, Donald Brown and his wife Susan all of England. Son in law to Barbara and the late Wally Holmes of Kingston. Cherished grandfather to Cameron and Aiden Brown, mother Heather Brown; Hadley Brown and mother Rachele Mitchell; Elly and Eva Gendrolius. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Ted spent a majority of his career as a successful salesman based on his charming personality and heavy British accent. He brought his love for soccer from England, coaching recreational teams and following his beloved Arsenal football club. Referred to as “Grampy”, Ted loved spending time with his five grandchildren including trips to Edaville Railroad and the Dollar Store. Ted loved to travel with his wife Julie, from Aruba to Vegas, Disney or anywhere he could sit by the pool with his music, a newspaper and snacks.
Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 5th, from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106), Kingston. A celebration of Ted’s life will be held on Saturday, December 6th at 10:00 AM at the First Parish Church, Main Street in Kingston. Reception to follow at the Brown’s residence; 17 Tobey Lane Plympton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: American Heart Association at www.donatenow.heart.org.
